So since this blog will be dedicated to items I make, I have another post today... These are a bunch of crafts that I have sewed/ made.... I love the material for the bag holder and my sewing machine cover... wish I had more of that material... Oh well!

Party Skirt!

So Genevieve has this great blog called Creative Spaces.  I found her tutorial over on Ucreate blog (which is amazing btw!).  I attempted to make the skirt and for my first piece of clothing I have sewed, it turned out pretty cute! Next time i know to pull the ruffle from the bobbin thread and not the top thread.  I will also make my seam allowances a bit smaller :) Lesson learned! Here are some pics of the skirt:

Quiet Book Pics!

I finally finished and put it all together as one book....  :)

Quiet Book!

So I have been working on my quiet book since the third trimester of Deanna's pregnancy.... I am almost done! (She turns 1 in less than a month!) I am so excited to almost be done.  I must say I am proud of myself for finishing this book b/c I am still a total novice sewer and really learned many of the sewing techniques while working on this project!!!

Yay! I will post pics very soon of my quiet book! With the help of some awesome crafty blogs like Homemade by Jill, Naptime Journal, How to Make a Quiet book the finished product is almost here.  I have decided to enter it into the Air Force Arts and Crafts Showcase.... Just for fun!
